Fred A. Romano, 76, of Long Pond, died Tuesday, October 2 at St. Luke's Hospital - Monroe in Bartonsville. He was the loving husband of Elaine (O'Dor) Romano.
Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, he was raised by his grandparents, Angelo and Anna Albanese.
Fred graduated from Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey and Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He worked for Sanofi Pasteur, was an avid coin collector, and enjoyed cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Gregory Romano of Fountain Hill; and David Romano of Lancaster.
There will be a viewing from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, October 8 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Interment will take place at 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 9 at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, North Arlington, New Jersey.
